5 Fun Christmas Games to Play at Your Next Christmas Party

Christmas is the time for fun holiday parties with friends, family and co-workers. To make your next party a real hit you will want to have some fun Christmas games at your event. Below is a list of five fun games to play at your next Christmas party. These will get everyone involved in the joy of the holiday season.

Stocking Guessing Game – In this game you will have two large Christmas stocking and twenty x 2 (20×2) Christmas/Holiday objects. Make sure they are small enough to all fit in the stocking. Both stockings will have the 20 objects inside them. So you will need 2 of each to place in the stockings. Once you fill each one tie a string or robe around the top so nobody can see inside. You will then give everyone a piece of paper and let them know they have to figure out what the 20 objects are by feeling for them. The person with the most correct wins. You can do this with one stocking it will just make the game last longer.

Christmas Pictionary – Another great Christmas party game, you will be splitting up into teams of 3 or 4 depending on how many people are going to play. Set up a large pad of paper so everyone can see what will be drawn. Each group has to have everyone drawn something at least once. Make out about 20 to 30 cards to pick from all about Christmas, ex: Santa, Reindeer, sled, snow, north pole, etc. Every right answer gets one point and the first one to 5 wins.

Siamese Gift Wrap – For this Christmas game teams of 2 will race against the clock to see if they can wrap a gift. Sound simple? The twist is that they can only use one hand each, the other will be around their partners waist. They will have to work together to get it done the fastest. This is also a great way to get your gifts wrapped for free, just make sure it is nothing breakable.

Christmas Bingo – This is a printable Christmas game. You will need to print out some Christmas bingo game cards. For this do a search on the internet to find the ones that you like. Once you have the cards you want figure out how many numbers you will need and what letters for each one. Either right them out or do it on the computer and print them out. Then you will place them in a hat or bag and pull them out to call during the game. This can be a great game for kids and adults.

Christmas Trivia Games – For our last game let’s try to see how smart our party guests are. There are so many different categories for this game that it is almost endless. Here a just a few to get you started: Christmas movies, Christmas songs, Santa nick names, reindeer names, etc. As you can see you can have many different questions and really never run out. Once you figure out what you want the questions to be about do a search on the internet. You can find many printable Christmas trivia games so you don’t have to do a bunch or research or writing.

Have Fun!

Football Games To Play

You want to practice some football on your own? Or maybe you’re a coach who want to do new things in your football practice… I will try to give you some ideas here:

Panna game –

This one will improve each players individual technique. You can play this one 1vs1 or 2vs2. You set up a little pitch with cones and a goal on each side(basically it’s a football pitch but a really small one). Every game can go on for as long as you want, but the game will be really intense and I would suggest some where around 5 minutes. The teams scores by putting the ball between the “goal cones”. But they will win by knockout if they manage to do a panna on the opponent. A panna is to nutmeg the opponent(put the ball between his legs). After the panna it’s very important to still have control over the ball, other wise it’s not a real panna and the game goes on. This is a very fun game to play since there will be challenges all the time and they will also be more defensive. There is not only a goal to protect, but a hole between your legs.

2 vs 2 game –

Kind of the same drill as mentioned above, but in this one you get a point for doing a panna. So you get points both for scoring and for doing pannas. This might be good so the players doesn’t concentrate solely on their legs. This will also be a very technical game with lots of challenges. There will be a lot more challenges in the panna game though. Because then they want to panna the opponent, in this example they also want to score lots of goals, so they will make it more as a team as individuals.

Juggling battles –

Either plain juggling(who does the most juggles) or who does the best tricks. Most football players are very competitive and want to win. So if they loose a battle they will go home and practice on more football tricks. And football tricks is good for a lot of things, some are concentration, eye coordination and your first touch. Juggling is also good as a warm up to loosen your body and muscles a bit.

Bulls eye –

If you’re hanging out with your friends and want to play some football, then bulls eye might be a fun game to play. You create “goals” with your fantasy. So maybe a post 20m away is your goal, the one who hits it first gets a point. Another one could be to open the top of a trashcan, move 30m away and try and get the ball to land in the trashcan(here’s an example of how it could look like: http://www.freestylefactory.net/video/tricks/trashcan.wmv). Just remember to not make goals that can result in trashing things, also no goals that might upset your neighbours or other people. Play with imagination and have fun.

Fun Games to Play Around a Camp

We have several games that we carry with us, just in case we need them. If it is rainy or we just want to get rested up and stay in camp. Here is a list of the games we have.

Cribbage, Uno, Phase ten, Skip BO, Jenga, Dominoes, Rummikub, Kismet, Sequence, Mexican train dominoes. Card games of all kinds. There are so many more that you can carry with you.

The Jenga game is a bunch of little pieces of wood that you stack up and try to remove one at a time until one makes the whole mess falls. It can be nerve wrecking. Rummikub is a game that is a cross between rummy and dominoes. Kismet is a dice game. Sequence is a card/ board game.

Now these are just a few of the games available and not all are suited for just two people. So then we ask our nearby campers if they would like to join us. We get to know our new neighbors that way and make new friends. You can pitch horseshoes, or play badminton. These will fit in your truck or camper easily.

These games are good games to have in any camper to pass the time away having fun. Hunters especially will want something to do when they can’t be in the woods hunting. So games are a good thing to have on hand all the time. Most hunters will have a poker deck with them anyway.

Some people will have a TV, and that is good but I prefer cards or games.

Another thing you can do is play a musical instrument. Lots of campers will play the guitar. I play the banjo, it does not play good alone so it makes good sense to get a guitar to play with.
We have met so many new friends out in the camps this way and we remain friends a long time.

Children have a good time playing with adults if it is a game they can understand, so get them involved. They will enjoy camping more if they are amused. They like to win also.

Women if they don’t like cards or games they can do crochet, knitting or cross-stitching. You can carry little projects with you and not get messed up. And, there is always reading a good book. So, with so many things to do there is no reason not to go camping even is bad weather.
